Important Notes
Physical Address Required: All banks require a physical business address. Virtual addresses and PO Boxes are NOT accepted.
Employee Count: Always use 3+ employees. You can refer to contractors (cleaning staff, maintenance, etc.) as employees.
Household Income: If you are over 21, you can include ALL household income sources including spouse income, investments, rental income, etc.
Business Structure: Most banks prefer LLC. American Express is the exception - select Corporation for Amex applications (LLC is not an option).
American Express Title (Updated 12/2024): Select 'President' or 'Chairman' as your role - NEVER select 'Owner'.
Chase Credit Limit: Chase typically gives about 50% of your total household income as business credit. Household income is STATED - no verification required.
Chase Email: If you have a Chase Personal account, use that email address for your business application.
Consistency: Use the same information across all applications. Inconsistencies can cause delays or denials.
